THE REFURBISHMENT OF OUR VILLAGE HALL - COMPLETED!
Thank you for all your efforts in fundraising over the last few years - to all of you who worked so hard to make our events a success and to those of you who attended our quiz nights, picnics and bazaars and fetes!
We were lucky to be successful in receiving a grant from The National Lottery (now the Community Fund) that matched the significant amount of money we already had raised, to enable us to carry out the much-needed refurbishment of our village hall. We look forward to seeing you at future events and hope that you will also hire the hall for your events, clubs and parties. Here's some pictures of the new interior. Enjoy!
Rushden is a tiny village of about 200 population located in North Hertfordshire. It is made up of
3 areas; Mill End, Church End and Southern Green. Many of the properties date back to the 16th century and there are a few ghosts that still wander around every so often. No shops are left, but we still have a church, village hall and a pub, all of which are at the centre of the community.
