Attempted thefts - Please beware

The lead thieves seem to be active again.

St Mary's, Walkern was targeted this week on Friday afternoon. It would seem they were scared away by the roof alarm and did not get away with anything. However the lead flashing has been damaged on the Lady Chapel Roof.

Please please include the church in your walks around the village and if our roof alarm goes off phone 999 and make me aware.
