Roxy is an acoustic singer-songwriter from Hertfordshire. Roxy started her music career in The West End first starring for 12 months in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium followed by a lead role for another 12 months in Mary Poppins starring as Jane Banks at Prince Edward Theatre. Roxy went onto appear on T.V a few to mention are adverts for Lloyds TSB, Woolworths, BT Broadband, features in Harry Hill’s TV Burp, Disney’s As the Bell Rings, and performing with DJ Casper at The Disney Channel Awards for his hit song “Cha Cha Slide” at The Royal Albert Hall. Roxy has performed for the Italian Embassy, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, at the Warner Brother Studios and Wembley Stadium. She has also performed at numerous festivals and on many radio stations. Music is Roxy’s current full time job and even though lockdown has been tough she’s excited to get back to doing what she loves the most! Still learning and growing, Roxy continues to write and perform her own songs. She is currently recording her new E.P as is so excited
Since graduating with a first class degree in Music and Performance and completing a postgraduate classical acting and musical theatre course in London, Emily has performed extensively as a solo singer and actress, touring internationally and nationally; operatic roles performed to date include “Cio-Cio San” (Puccini’s Madam Butterfly), “Micaela” (Bizet’s Carmen) ,“Fiordiligi” (Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte,) “Guenevere” (Surrey Opera’s Camelot) ,“Yum Yum” (The Mikado) and “Galatea” in the touring production of Handel’s Acis and Galatea for the St Albans Chamber Opera Company. She currently sings with the The Philharmonia Chorus who tour across Europe and performs as soloist for various choral societies in the Home Counties. She records solo vocals for library music and commercials for television and radio, works free lance as a wedding singer for sacred and secular ceremonies, events and functions, and in professional church services in London and surrounding counties. She also enjoys recording with Metro, Apollo and London Voices for feature film soundtracks. For the past twelve years, she has devised her own one-woman cabaret act that she performs in venues across London for public audiences, corporate functions and private parties. She was invited to bring this show to Australia be a part of one of the largest cabaret festivals in the world in June 2014, for a ten- night run at the Courthouse Theatre, Melbourne, to great critic acclaim. Recently she has toured to Hamburg, Germany to be amongst the very first singers to perform at the new Elbphilharmonie concert hall and performed as one of four vocalists in the long-standing touring concert show, Beyond The Barricade. This summer will mark her sixth season as lead production vocalist in the famous Cromer Pier Show, the only full season Pier Show of its kind in the world. She has had the pleasure of appearing as the classical Act on board the Balmoral earlier this year on their cruise to Norway and she is thrilled to be joining the Fred Olsen fleet once more for the first leg of this world cruise.
Jesse has been the voice of dozens of projects live & in the studio including: Romances, The Classic Rock Show, Legacy, Gutterdämmerung, Queen Symphonic, Thriller Live! Magic at The Movies, Boot Led Zeppelin and many more... With these projects Jesse has performed all over the world in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, The London Palladium, The Olympic Stadium - Munich, Isle of Wight Festival, Hornbill Festival - Nagaland, India, Download Festival, Hellfest, Copenhell, Rock Werchter, Indigo2, LanXESS Arena, O2 Forum, Shepherds Bush Empire and many more. Emma’s debut appearance at Rushfest 2021 is going to be an amazing set of soul, funk and disco classics. Showcasing her incredible range and powerhouse diva vocals that she has become renowned for in some of the country's top venue’s. Emma started singing at a young age, and attended the prestigious Brit School from the age of 16 until 18. She then took a musical theatre degree at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and obtained a 1st degree Honours. Emma has performed at countless corporate and private events, high-end parties and some of this country’s biggest and most prestigious theatres ,clubs and cabaret venues; John Partridge’s one man show ‘Stripped’ at the other Palace, David Bedella and friends at the other Palace, Live at the Apollo Victoria 80th birthday celebrations, Wiltons Music Hall, Ronnie Scott’s bar, 100 Wardour street, Dress Circle benefit at Her Majesties Theatre Haymarket. The Ice Ball for Denise Welsch of Loose Women, Madam Jojo's, Freedom Bar Soho, Archer Street Soho, Floridita, Soho House, The Box, Annabels,100 Wardour street, Fest Camden,the HClub,the list goes on.... They're back! After treating the crowds at last years Rushfest to their tight harmonies and smooth blues guitars, The whiskers are back again with even more musical magic. ‘Filthy Whiskers’ are a trio like no other. Their sounds include the bluesy soulful tones of Black Puma’s and The Teskey Brother’s right up to reworking’s of Bob Marley and Harry Styles. Glorious vocal harmonies and cool guitar licks make The Whisker’s an unmissable act.
Firm favourite from last year's Rushfest is returning and we are very excited about that. NAMED AS ‘ONE TO WATCH’ IN 2021 BY BBC INTRODUCING, Northern Artist and Song Writer Jack Hawitt is about to have an exciting year. With Pharrell Williams and Megan Thee Stallion among his song writing credit list, he is making a name for himself in the music industry. As a Feature Artist, Jack has racked up over 20 Million Spotify streams with Embody (Ultra) and DJ Licious (Hexagon). Jack’s solo releases to date have been supported by Spotify, BBC Introducing, Clash magazine and Metro. He sold out his first headline show, and his second collaboration with DJ Licious was featured in Don Diablo’s Live Set for Formula 1. Alongside the pandemic, 2020 had some highlights for Jack with a feature in Netflix’s Top 10 Film ‘Feel The Beat’ and his cover of ‘Mr Brightside’ was the soundtrack to the launch campaign of Sony’s PlayStation 5. 2021 sees the return of Live performances for Jack as well as the release of his debut EP.
THE LONESOME FRETS
The Lonesome Frets are fronted by duo Rachael Wooding and George Maguire. As a 6 piece band they have released two singles from their upcoming EP Running and recently played to a sold out show at London's legendary The Water Rats. Their headline set will feature all the tracks from their debut EP alongside versions of classic covers built for festival joy.
